Lot’s of people have written lot’s of things about recovered memories, things I’ve never much read by the way unless they happened to be placed in the newspapers of the day ~ Myself, I’ve never had any recovered memories, ever since my early childhood there were things I’d chosen not to think about, at all, not so much choosing not to remember, more like simply choosing not to think about them, conscious choices made of the will and not the emotions either because of not being in a position to do anything practical about them while not wanting a trauma of past moments to gain a life of their own so to speak, a very adult response from a very together little boy, young adolescent, and later young man, indeed there were many (Many) things I’d just chosen not to think about because there were no constructive mechanisms either for expression of the memories nor for healing the issues that brought them into play, none of them knee jerk emotional response that essentially sprang from the real (Or imagined) aftershock of real (sic) or imagined events, a valid way of describing the reality of living with torture by a fascist kind by a German Nazi pig the day I’d been born, within an hour of the moment of birth, then torture by a Russian born German pig for two weeks after, then learning at age 3 years my birth mother had died the day I’d been born, the Russian’s female partner the first one to raise it during those 3 1\2 days mentioned above, later at age 5 learning she tortured to death, learning and my step sister was being murdered at that very moment elsewhere while some little girl I’d not known was murdered in front of me, place all of that in context as an adult and you’re doing well, me, I’d only been a little boy…
(Phew, long sentence, big subject, not too many words tho)…
Anyway, seems one more memory I’d placed aside was the fact that, although tortured the day I’d been born, which I’m able to clearly remember, the Nazi pig smiling at me with what I’d mistaken at the time as a warm intention, then the physical pain starting, the (Same) Russian born German pig that murdered the little girl in front of me at age three torturing me for the next few weeks before I’d been swapped with my step mother’s baby at the hospital, then torture in the Broken Hill hospital where I’d been, supposedly for Hepatitis, then later Cirrhosis of the Liver, both chemically induced I’d later learnt, these I’m able to clearly remember, truth is I’d never forgotten them, only placed them aside waiting for context to be applicable in real time ~ Anything else, I’d just made assumptions based on likelihoods yet kept an open mind for anything not quickly coming to mind in my pursuit of all things linear lateral and empirical, all things related to other events as I’d remembered them, each in it’s own place ~ In that vein it seems after some further delving into stored (Not repressed) memories there was ‘NO’ physical torture of me in the three and a half days I’d gone missing from the family home in 1960 after being abducted from the family home screaming and driven away by some pig with an American accent, an American accent just like the asshole’s that were torturing drugging and literally trying to brainwash me on eschatological matters late at night in the children’s ward of the Broken Hill hospital, then handed over to the same Russian pig who’d tortured me for the first two weeks of my life ~ That’s not what I’d said in the previous blog, but what I’d said was both true, yet incomplete ~ What there was at that time was emotional torture based on a good witch verses bad witch thing with the Russian and his female partner, exquisite emotional torture aided by the daily screams of a little girl who he’d then stated he’d killed in front of me some time on the third and final day of my ordeal ~ In that context in addition to a total mindfcuk there’d been a deliberate attempt to create a constant expectation of physical torture according to the threats the Russian pig was making, the somewhat confusing reassurances of the ‘GOOD WITCH’ wife or companion he had with him, backed up by the little girl’s constant (Daily) bouts of screaming, then finally on the third day some moderate possibly short lived torture of me after the little girl’s screams under torture had stopped mid breath, never to be by me heard again…
The (Natural) assumption was for me, even today keeping it at arms length to avoid emotional entanglement as much as possible was to mix her screams into ‘MY’ experience in the way the mind will naturally analyse stuff, yet except for one shortish time just before or after her apparent death the torture on me myself was all psychological, the expectation of his immanent physical abuse quite dramatic and effective following on from 2 or 3 days of ‘HER’ somewhat pitiful screaming, ~ Then came the Australian men breaking into the house, sent by my war vet step father military style, me ignoring their genuine although to me feeble attempts at pacification, worried shitless about my step sisters whom I’d bonded with because the pig had threatened me over them too, just stubbornly crying out “WHERE’S MY DADDY, WHERE’S MY DADDY” any time any of the fools tried to talk to me in a calming or distracting way ~ The Russian had talked to me in calming ways in between the psychological torment, his female partner both nice and also veiled nasty near the end of the terror as well, far as I’d understood when all these Australians busted into the house I’d been ready for round four with them too and they could all go fcuk themselves whatever they wanted, some 3 y\o ~ They tried a few more times to talk to me with questions about what was done to me but all I’d respond with was “WHERE’S MY DADDY WHERE’S MY DADDY” and finally they got it and let it go ~ One said leave it, don’t say anything to him, just wait, let his dad (Clem) talk to him, so yeah, that was 57 years ago, if those post Sept 11 German descent Masonic pigs of the world would like to accuse me of making shit up or retelling faulted events from a damaged or imagined mental state then I’d say no, there’s no Cessna or skyscrapers in ‘MY’ fcuking story like there is in yours you fools, merely recollections of traumatic events from 57 odd years ago that I’d placed aside for over 5 1\2 decades because I’d had no viable avenue for constructive expression of them ~ Given the amount of time as well as the complexities of the moments, now and then, I’m doing pretty damn good, as in they’re not recovered memories in any way shape or form, they were simply things I’d made a mental decision at the time not to talk about or think about to save my step sisters and\or mom from getting hurt, and, Oh how the decades flew before opportunities arose…

For artisans or connoisseur’s of fine writing I’m going to be like Gulag Archipelago Volumes Two and Three for style and poise, in other words, basically crap, the writing in Gulag Archipelago Volumes Two and Three is indeed crap, total crap, even the guy who wrote Volume One would say as much in half of a sweet sentence about something else and I’ll say that again, even the guy who wrote Volume One would say as much, comparing both ‘MY‘ writing style and ability and the writing of Volume Two and Three in probably less than half of a sweet sentence about something else entirely, because Volume One of Gulag Archipelago was, among many other subjects carried along with the story, a treatise about simple universal truths told within a story mostly parallel to it, that of his mock trial x imprisonment for crimes against the state ~ For literary purists who honestly didn’t know any better the writer Solsenitzen’s main reason for writing a crap Volume Two and a crap Volume Three after Volume One was noted for being one of the best books ever written by anyone with only one head was the fact he (Literally) died after writing Volume One, meaning the quality of his work was bound to deteriorate somewhat thereafter, and again I’ll repeat myself, the quality of his work was bound to deteriorate somewhat after he completed Volume One because he was murdered by the state after writing it…
The main point I’d gotten out of reading Gulag Archipelago Volume One was that this man who wrote it had come to the same conclusions about human nature as I’d done myself, fact is there’s not anywhere in the whole book that I’d learnt a single damn thing, what was to my mind beautiful, at least to me, was that one other person had seen these things about the human heart mind spirit and\or soul as I’d seen myself and, had managed to get it all written down in the most powerful way possible and also managed to get them smuggled out of jail and onto the world literary stage before he’d been found out…
